Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Madison Heights, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Casual dine in/take out place. Food and service is great! They are very familiar with vegan/gluten free/dairy free foods. Lots of options! So glad we came in!

I got the creamy Tonkotsu ramen with mushrooms (no fishcake) and the age gyoza. My ramen had really good flavor and was a good size (filling). My only gripe is that the pork was way overcooked- it was dry and tough, so I couldn't bite into it. I would give this place another try and come back, but I would need to get something other than the pork and omit the bamboo next time. The age gyoza were good. I thought they would be less crispy based on a photo I saw when I placed the order, but it's fine. They had a cute little wall when I went in (got carry out).

Strongly recommend. Food is great, menu options are pretty good and appreciate the young chefs who has the intent to establish a brand in the food service.

Somebody kiss the damn chef for me. The noodles were fresh and perfectly cooked. The spice level was just right. I really only order pork from restaurants when I'm buying Asian or Italian cuisine. It did not disappoint. I think it was from the belly. So tender, so flavorful, so succulent. The broth was super flavorful, the veggies were perfectly cooked. If you viewed the photo, full disclosure, the portion was bigger than what appeared. The bowl was destroyed before I realized I forgot to take the picture. I was upset when i finished it. I wanted to keep eating. I had the spicy guchujang bowl. Excellent. The strawberry tea was also a winner!

I went here with my family and we ordered a few dishes. They are not expensive with most bowls being under $10, to add protein it was an additional $3-$4 depending on the protein. The restaurant is welcoming and when you enter you can order from a kiosk or a worker. We ordered from the kiosk, it was 4 of us and we were able to take our time. This cafe has noodle and rice dishes. They have poke bowls, salads and ramen. They also have boba drinks. I ordered the crab ragoon as an appetizer for us, it was a little greasy but good overall. I also ordered the coconut curry bowl with shrimp. I donβt order curry too often but glad I did, it was so flavorful and spicy. The shrimp was grilled and the chopped veggies on top added a great crunch to the consistency. O also had the pomegranate strawberry boba. I would def order this again. My family enjoyed theirs too (spicy gochujang noodles, garlic butter noodles, and chi fan noodles)
